Roll up Roll up . . .

Due to the success of last years fair, the S.A.F. have decided to do it all over again, bigger and better!

There will be fun for all ages; make vegetable animals with Saskia Leek or badges with Fin Ferrier. Plus a special stall created by young people for young people!

Food stalls will provide delights that can be washed down with a taster of Simon Cuming’s home brew. Preserves, plants and jumble all for sale. Plus, due to popular demand Richard Malloy’s kissing booth will be back and be sure not to miss our very own coconut shy.

Raffles with amazing prizes from The Langham Hotel, Nature Baby, Parsons, Herne Bay Cellars, Il Bucco, Baretta Espresso, Studio Art Supplies, Millers Coffee and more!

As we aim to not only have fun, but to also celebrate the art-community there will be stalls from Craftwerk, Rm 103, Night Art School, Newcall Gallery, A Centre for Art, Gambia Castle, Cross Street Studios and Cuckoo.

All this and more! And it can all be enjoyed whilst listening to live performances by Sam Hamilton, The Hungry Eyes, Du Not Aks Me 4 I Du Nt Noe, Mai Dark Lordd!! and the Absolution Orchestra.

The Starving Artists Fund is a registered charitable trust that was founded in 2005.

Each year S.A.F host an event, raising funds to perpetuate the annual S.A.F Award.

The S.A.F Award is given to a fledgling artist to assist them in realising a specific art project. It is the only award of its kind in NZ as it is designed, governed and judged by a group of artists.

The S.A.F board consists of; Simon Cuming, Judy Darragh, Megan Hansen-Knarhoi, Saskia Leek, Richard Malloy and A.D. Schierning.
