Ex Libris or bookplates are printed artworks fixed inside a book to identify the owner.

On display at the Cornwall Park Information Centre is a selection of works from the Auckland Ex Libris Society featuring works by notable Auckland artists including Hilda Wiseman.

These bookplates reflect our country, as well as the owners and artists of these decorative objects of lasting charm and beauty.

An illustrated talk by well known author and librarian, Ian Thwaites, will take place at the Cornwall Park Information Centre, Sunday 10 August at 2.00pm.
