James Blunt charmed New Zealand fans on his maiden tour Down Under in 2006, selling out every single show. In 2008, everyone’s prayers will be answered when James Blunt returns to New Zealand this April.

Playing his largest shows Down Under to date, James will return to Auckland, and for the first time ever will headline a show in Wellington.

James shot to worldwide prominence following the release of his debut album Back To Bedlam in 2005. Achieving what few artists are able to after releasing just one album, Back To Bedlam hit #1 in countless countries, awards and nominations for James began to mount up.

Spawning the hit singles ‘You’re Beautiful’ and ‘Goodbye My Lover’ James Blunt became a household name as they became the anthems of 2006. New Zealand and Australian fans answered the James Blunt call, proving to be the most devoted in his following. Back To Bedlam sold in excess of 650 000 copies in Australia and New Zealand, spending a combined total of 24 weeks at #1 on the ARIA and RIANZ album charts.

James Blunt’s phenomenal success was continued with the release of 2007’s acclaimed All The Lost Souls (Warner Music). Q Magazine declared the album “a fearsomely efficient follow-up to Back To Bedlam” while the Los Angeles Times warned “he’s onto something. He’s not making background music.”

All Music Guide gave high praise: “It will seduce anybody already won over by his 2005 debut, "Back to Bedlam," since it's a tighter, more assured record than that. But chances are, they were seduced by Blunt already.” And The Sun named All The Lost Souls’ cover art as the “best in years”.

Peaking at #1 in 19 different countries, All The Lost Souls has notched up platinum sales in both countries. Without a doubt, James Blunt’s achievements will continue to grow in 2008.

With a history of selling out tours the world over – and notably selling out every past show to date in New Zealand and Australian – tickets to see James Blunt perform live in NZ this April will not last long. If you’ve seen James live before, you’ll understand it is an experience to be repeated many times over. If you missed James last time, don’t make the same mistake twice.

I sing You're Beautiful to myself every time when my cellphone rings. I dont consider myself vain but I feel that everyone needs to remind themself everynow and the about how beautiful they actually are and also of the beautiful things that do really exist within our world. Theres too much negatism in society today.

I would sing "You're Beautiful", even though "I can't Hear the Music", to "One of the Brightest Stars", my friend, "Billy".
I may be "Out of My Mind" but, "Billy", "I Really Want You" and "I'll Take Everything" - I 'll even "Carry You Home" to "Give Me Some Love"; we will get so "High".
"Wisemen" will think that I'm making the "Same Mistake" and that it will all end in "Tears and Rain", but we will "Shine On".
I will then be able to say, (with "No Bravery"),"So Long, Jimmy" and "Goodbye My Lover" of "1973". He will no doubt "Cry", but hopefully he will start over with "Annie".

I would sing this to my two lovely baby daughters, because they always smile when I do and try to join in. Its one of those "special" songs for our family.

I'd stare deep into the bathroom mirror and sing it to myself. We all need to learn to love and appreciate ourselves a little bit more these days! It's the whole "smile and the world smiles with you" philosophy.

I would sing it to my partner- who makes me smile, laugh and do the things I always say I will do, but never get around to. He makes my life more beautiful

I'd sing it to my mum, cause she is The Most Beautiful woman in the world, and I think it would put a smile on her face which I can't see cause she's all the way over in the U.K. But I know it would make her smile, which instantly makes the world a better place!

Well lucky me; I'm actually the woman on the subway that James wrote this song about. And I'd sing it back to Mr Blunt to really confirm that we 'had a moment'.

I would love to be able to sing this song to all my gorgeous, amazing, supportive friends who have always been there for me - they know who they all are - without you Beautiful People in my life it would not be anywhere near as beautiful as you all are . XX

I'd sing "You're Beautiful" to my daughter because it brings back memories of the two of us falling to sleep listening to James Blunt's album when we were very homesick while in Germany. Everytime we hear it we get tears and think of how great New Zealand is.

I would sing "You're Beautiful" to my little cousin who is the first baby to born into our family for 5 years!! She is absolutely gorgeous and has the most gorgeous and large blue eyes. She's only 3months old :)

I would sing "You're Beautiful" to all the little girls out there who suffer from low self esteem at the hands of their peers. Those girls who, through no fault of their own, don't have caregivers to help them be clean, manicured and polished, but who are trying to live their lives on this beauty driven earth just the same. I believe James Blunt meant this to be inner beauty.
