Four people, one goal: 100km in 36 hours to help over come poverty and injustice.
Oxfam Trailwalker is held annually at Lake Taupo. This beautiful and varied trail has been specially created with the support of local landowners and Destination Lake Taupo.
Teams of four start together and stick together throughout the 7 checkpoints along the 100km Trail.
But that's not the only challenge! Teams also commit to raising funds to help support Oxfam's humanitarian and development programmes in the Pacific, South Asia and Africa.
Oxfam Trailwalker 2007 raised over $1mil, with average funds raised per team at $3,800.
