Palmerston North’s 'Cornstars Comedy Club' performs monthly at the Globe Theatre on Main Street.

The evening can last as late at midnight (depending on number and length of acts).

This is an excellent value for money night of entertainment.

A more than affordable bar operates from the theatre foyer and a sausage sizzle and trade mark hot buttered corn on the cob keep the crowd and acts well feed.

The format is basically an open mic evening, with a good mix of both local and out of town comics of varying ability taking the stage with their best work.

The night affords the audience the sort of mental relief a good massage would afford one with a bad back, a great way to leave the stresses of the work week behind and begin the weekend with a smile on your face.
