Deni Hines and James Morrison

Deni Hines is, without doubt, considered one of Australia's top soul/rhythm 'n blues artists. From hit singles and albums, to lead roles in musicals & television, Deni has grown up in front of audiences from an enthusiastic young performer to a mature, sophisticated all round entertainer.

James Morrison is, by anybody’s standard, a virtuoso in the true sense of the word. Besides the trumpet, this multi-instrumentalist also plays trombone, euphonium, flugel horn, tuba, saxophones and piano.

Having just released their first album together, "THE OTHER WOMAN", the pair will be performing jazz classics from the critically acclaimed album during this one-off Christchurch concert.

The aptly named album is stacked with classics from Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Nina Simone and Aretha Franklin and includes two originals of their own.

The recent near sell-out shows in Australia overwhelmed the audiences. Jaws were dropping and feet were tapping with more encores than you can poke a trumpet at. This is a show not to be missed.
