The Cadbury Crunchie Comedy Gala is the official launch of the 2008 NZ International Comedy Festival. Over 20 of the Festival’s sizzling local and international stars are set to ignite a towering comedy inferno.
Featuring from the USA Arj Barker (TV’s Flight of the Conchords), NZ icon Ewen Gilmour, Australia’s funniest Irishman Jimeoin, 2006 sensation David O’Doherty (IRE), Australia’s first lady of Comedy, Julia Morris and returning from a sell out season in last year’s Festival, UK’s Mark Watson … plus heaps more.
The Gala has become a New Zealand comedy institution and one of the hottest tickets on the live entertainment scene. Recorded live for TV, last year’s SOLD OUT show was the fastest selling event of the Festival.
