The legendary Lady in Leather makes her first visit to NZ!

Back to the Drive New Zealand Tour tickets on sale 9 February.

The original Queen of Rock presents two hours of raw energy when she performs in New Zealand for two special shows.

Suzi Quatro has visited Australia many times but for various reasons has always missed performing in NZ. She and her band are world-famous for their dazzling show of uncompromising rock 'n' roll, rivalling contemporaries Blondie, Stevie Nicks and the like.

Quatro’s approach is always fresh, as she reels off her many hits including; Can the Can, 48 Crash, The Wild One, If You Can't Give Me Love, Devil Gate Drive, and Stumblin' In. Quatro lists over 40 hits since her first, Rolling Stone, in 1973!

This NZ tour coincides with the promotion and publication of her autobiography 'Suzi Quatro Unzipped' and her last album 'Back to the Drive'.

A celebrated rock star for over 30 years in the UK, Europe, Japan and Australia, Suzi was one of the very first women to break the mould and play hard driving rock ‘n’ roll. She became famous for her leather-clad, tough, wild, street-wise form of rock, wielding a bass guitar that was almost as big as her. She was a trailblazer for girls with guitars and is considered to be the pioneer of female rockers. “I didn’t open the door, I kicked it down” she admits.

Suzi’s current album 'Back to the Drive' was released worldwide by EMI in 2006. This album is a return to her roots with an excellent mixture of hard rock and ballads. She recently appeared in the top British series Midsomer Murders, adding to the string of acting roles she has done throughout her career, and is also into the fifth year presenting her own show for BBC’s Radio 2 titled 'Rockin' with Suzi Q'.

The backbone of Suzi’s career is touring and she will take her fans through another journey with her two part, all-hit show, including all of the Quatro gems. "I love going out there and turning a mass of people into a screaming rock ‘n’ roll audience."

I'm so dispointed that Suzi show fall during workday. My partner really would like to go for the show but he's staying in Taumarunui and just starting the job. It'll take him 4 hours to come up to Auckland. Even in Wellington, it's still on a workday. Why?
