There is an exciting range of activities and events to keep everyone busy and entertained at Capital E this September School Holidays. Workshops, live theatre, circus and much more, including a series of workshops in a first time collaboration with Te Papa’s The Poisoner’s! Exhibition.
Capital E National Theatre for Children is pleased to announce the return of this much-loved Songs of the Sea - an enchanting story of how all the fish in the sea were created. A sub-marine wonderland is revealed in a theatrical collage of brilliantly coloured puppets, song and dance. Don’t miss this delightful show before it leaves to perform in Melbourne, Australia.
Fuse Productions presents What Goes Up … - think twice about gravity as some of the best circus artists around scale up ropes, twirl in silks, balance, hula-hoop and revel in a fiery finale like you’ve never seen before. This is a child-friendly adaptation of the award-winning Gravity and other Myths that premiered in the Wellington 2007 Fringe Festival.
For the first time ever Capital E will be joining forces with SQUARE EYES, New Zealand Children's Film Foundation, to present to you a filmic feast. Bring your popcorn, pillow and parents to share in a selection of short films including Aardman Animations latest offering ‘Shaun the Sheep: Bathtime’ and 2006 Oscar® nominated ‘One Man Band’ from Pixar.
