Calling all school students in the Auckland region, this event is for you! You may be the future Paul Potts, Hayley Westerna, or Charlotte Church. Warm up those vocal chords, get out the music, find that snazzy costume and get out the makeup and hair gel! Opera Idol is about to rock Auckland at the Opera Factory Newmarket. You'll be competing for a place in the finals, including cash awards and scholarships for extended training, and public performance opportunities. The audition fee is $5 and entry forms are available from the Factory at 7 Eden Street Newmarket, or telephone 921 7801, by e-mail to admin@operafactory.com, or check out our website . The finals are open to the public.
