Samson was one of the Old Testament's most colourful charcters. His hair and his betrayal by Delilah have inspired many great works. Scottish tenor David Hamilton sings the title role in this thrilling work which includes such justly famous arias as Total Eclipse as Samson laments his blindness and Let the Bright Seraphim a jubilant duet for soprano and trumpet.
