Tahuna Breaks bring real soul and funk to Christchurch. From Auckland but well known via Kiwi FM and the B-net stations, set to launch their new album 'Reflections'.
Due for release on 22 October, driven by soul searching vocals, Tahuna Breaks’ unique combination of funk fuelled grooves, reggae and just a hint of drum n’ bass has seen them become a popular favourite on dance floors across New Zealand.
With the first single “Voodoo” on top of the Amplifier and Kiwi FM charts for a time, the video is now seeing generous airtime on ALT and Juice music TV.
The latest single “Casually Acquainted” is included on the October Kiwi Hit Disc.
The band take pride in their live performance, using horns and electronic aids. They aim to provide the audience with a most memorable experience that in its diversity, sparks something in everyone.
