The Stil Vodka NZ Drift Series hits Pukekohe on Sunday November 25th. It's time for the grand final! 'Fanga' Dan Woolhouse leads in the points as we go into the event in the Dunlop Direzza Silvia. Chasing close behind is Carl Ruiterman in the E&H Motors Silvia. Third place is 'Mad' Mike Whiddett in the Redline Performance RX-7, and fourth plce is Tiger White in the driftsideracing.com Silvia.

Gates for spectators open at 9am and cars will be on track just after 9.30am. The Top 16 battles begin after lunch so if its cold or wet in the morning, you can still head to Pukekohe Park Raceway in the afternoon and witness the action. Rain or shine the Stil Vodka NZ Drift Series will go ahead.

Once again we’ll be bringing along the Stil Series Offical Radar Gun to check entry speeds at Pukekohe. The Stil Promo Girls will be on hand again, wandering through the venue. Whoever gets closest to guessing the fastest speed into the first corner will win some cool stuff from Stil Vodka on the day.

Any drivers who have not received an entry form via e-mail please check your spam filter or get in touch with Michael White on mwhite@parkside.co.nz, or call him urgently on 09 360 1480 ext 703 as the pre-entries close 5pm Friday November 9th 2007.

To wind out the day, after the Top 16 eliminations are completed, we’ll be running the Team Drift Challenge as well. All entries on the day will be eligible to enter in groups of 3-5 to compete for the Stil Vodka Teams Challenge. Rules are in the Sup Regs which are included with the entry forms. Team drift has gone well at previous rounds, and we intend to continue it at each round in the future. If you're a spectator at Pukekohe on November 25th, make sure you stay around for team drift after prizegiving!

For mid-drifting entertainment, we have a huge FMX display featuring Luke Smith of the Crusty Demons.

Finally, don’t forget all drivers and crews are invited to the Stil Vodka NZ Drift Series official after party. Just ask anybody who made the last after-parties in Palmerston North, Auckland, Christchurch and Taupo, and you’ll soon know its worth the effort. The afterparty will again be held at The Carpark on Lower Hobson Street in Auckland City. The NZPC TV crew will be on hand to cover the day’s activities then they’ll be straight into the editing suite to rough a programme together for the big screens later that evening. Exclusive footage of the day’s drifting will go on screen soon after they arrive plus you'll get the chance to taste some of Stil's fine product as part of the celebrations.

The final series prize-giving will also take place at the afterparty, so you'll get to see the top drivers of the series claim their victory.

To add to the attraction of the after party, Round 2 of the Mill Liquorsave Bikini Model Search, Powered by Demon Energy Drink will be held. The search is on for NZ's ultimate bikini model, and after a very successful round one at The Shed in Taupo, round two should be even bigger and better.

General admission tickets to the Grand Final of this year’s Stil Vodka NZ Drift Series on Sunday November 25th are $25. You can buy them at the gates, or online direct from www.performancecar.co.nz. Just click on the shopping link from the homepage, and then goto tickets. Car parking is once again $5 and if you want to wander the pits during the day then its $5 per person. Parking is also $5. Entry is free under 10 years old, and no dogs or alcohol are permitted to be brought into the venue.

You can also check out the weather forecast at http://www.metvuw.co.nz/forecast/ - just click on the North Island thumbnails.

One last thing, Stil Vodka, Racepro, Pit Stop, RPS, Fram Filters, Dobisport and Tein are supporting this series, so when you’re making your next purchase, think long and hard before going past these companies – they deserve your support.
