Herbie Hancock is perhaps the most influential practitioner of modern Jazz piano and certainly the biggest name in his field, and not surprisingly he's also regarded by many as the best. Hancock's playing is marked by extraordinary harmonic sense and rhythmic openness, and his voice is truly unique.
Embarking on his remarkable career in the early 1960's, including a ground-breaking stint with Miles Davis, Hancock has managed to maintain both commercial and artistic success, and continues to creatively expand the boundaries of music and to delight audiences around the world.
