The New Zealand Horse of the Year Show was conceived back in 1953 and has now become the largest equestrian event in the Southern Hemisphere. In 1999, the Show returned to the Hawke's Bay region and is a popular event on the Hawke's Bay events calendar. Tickets can be purchased on entry.
