Bring the kids, bring the dog and enjoy an afternoon of free dog focused fun. This event celebrates and supports dogs and their owners. As well as demonstrations there are a variety of light hearted competitions for you and your dog. Most of the competitions require no skill just enthusiasm. Competitions include: best trick, best dressed dog (fashion or fancy), Look-a-like (dog and owner), cutest dog, David and Goliath (smallest and biggest dog), kids colouring competition and free prize draws. There are giveaways and stalls. Most of the stalls are dog related - services, vets, trainers, clubs, accessories, toys and other products. The afternoon concludes with a 30 - 40minute mass dog walk around the lake. Sponsored by Hills Pet Nutrition, Bayer, The Pet Practice, Waikato MoreFM and Hamilton City Council.
