In 2007 the U.K.'s legendary V Festival debuts in Australia, with one day events being staged in Sydney on March 31 and on the Gold Coast on April 1.

En route to those dates, 5 of the major names in the V Festival line up are stopping off in Auckland to play 4 big nights at the St James.

Groove Armada return to New Zealand with their live band line up in what will be a blissfully superb night of big tunes and supple mixes delivered in the outstanding club style Groove Armada guarantees.

Even if you've not one of the near 60,000 New Zealanders to have bought one of their albums, you know their music. It's everywhere, from the dancefloor to the CD player at the hair salon.

The duo's debut single, “At The River”, sold just 500 copies but it wasn’t long before things took a sharp upward turn, as Groove Armada provoked a hysterical response from critics and fans with the release of their debut album, “Northern Star”. Since then the band have released a further 3 studio albums as well as a handful of essential mix albums, and with each album came the singles, from the sublime, jazzy drift of a re-released “At The River” to solid-gold floor-fillers like ”I See You Baby” and “Superstylin'” and the blissed-out grooves of “Easy”. This April brings the release their new album “Soundboy Rock”, so be sure to make it down for a cool night out as GROOVE ARMADA both introduce their new grooves as well as reprising their classic tracks.
