Christchurch is a very proud rugby city and we are very excited about the prospect of hosting the All Blacks v South Africa on 14 July.
There has been a long tradition of rugby rivalry between these two teams and now that two South African teams have hosted the Super 14 final, the battle on the 14th will certainly be one to watch. Many are saying that the Springboks will be the All Blacks biggest threat and will be the team that NZ will fear most come September.
The outcome of this match will provide the answer to all those questions and an opportunity for all South Island fans to farewell the All Blacks before they head off to the World Cup.
