Southern Sinfonia's annual "Last Night of the Proms" is always a highlight of the Dunedin calendar, and 2007 looks set to be no exception! A celebration of both English tradition and the Dunedin spirit, the 2007 proms will feature Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture alongside Proms favourites including Land of Hope and Glory, Rule Britannia, Jerusalem and Auld Lang Syne.

Once again, the University of Otago’s top music performance student will have the opportunity to perform in the public arena. So dig out your Sunday best, and warm up those vocal chords – the 2007 Last Night of the Proms is bound to be a night to remember!
