Auckland City is thrilled to announce the magic of the annual SKYCITY Starlight Symphony event will return to the Auckland Domain in 2007.
The 2007 SKYCITY Starlight Symphony programme promises to be as thrilling as ever with highlights including performances from The Lady Killers (Jackie Clarke, Tina Cross, Taisha and Suzanne Lynch), Frankie Stevens, NZ Idols Matt and Indira, conductor Marc Toddei with the Auckland Philharmonia, Geoff Sewell and John Rosser conducting the SKYCITY Massed Choir!
John Campbell and Carol Hirschfeld will return to the stage to host the evening and of course it will all be rounded off by Mercury Energy's spectacular laser light show.
The recipient charity for the 2007 SKYCITY Starlight Symphony is the Starship Foundation.
The charity is calling for an army of volunteers to collect donations at the popular star-studded event, now in its ninth year. Funds raised at the event will go towards the Starship Foundation's aim to get new insulin pumps for children living with type 1 diabetes.
