Wellington, mark the evenings of November 30 and December 1 on your calendar - a huge weekend of top-flight football is coming.
Wellington Phoenix FC has confirmed that it will play an exhibition match against the Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday, December 1, at 7.15pm at Westpac Stadium. The match against the visiting United States side - featuring star recruit David Beckham - comes a day after the Phoenix's Hyundai A-League 2007/08 match against Adelaide United at Westpac Stadium at 7.30pm, making for a bumper weekend of football in the capital.
And the capital's big weekend of the Beautiful Game will be a bargain, with entry to the Phoenix's matches against Adelaide and the Galaxy included in the price of a single ticket.
