Auckland Premier Baseball - Round 6

Auckland Premier Baseball returns out West this weekend to the home of West City Baseball, McLeod Park in Te Atatu.

With the field in an immaculate condition, the teams return to the greener pastures of Waitakere to play ball in Round 6 of the Auckland Premier League.

The opening pitch of the first game will be at 10:30am as the powerful home team that is West City take on the youth and exuberance of the Howick U18's.
Still undefeated after 5 rounds after a demolition of Cola Yeh last weekend, West City will be looking to make the most of their home ground advantage and look to extend their lead in the competition. Victory over the Howick U18 team however will not be a walk in the park for West City, with some stellar defensive performances by the Howick U18 pitchers making for a fantastic battle on the diamond

The afternoon game at 1:00pm sees a Howick Premier team away to the team from Cola Yeh, who will look to bounce back after their loss last week.
The Howick team is going from strength to strength this season, and look a good chance to be in contention for a finals berth at the New Zealand Baseball Club Championships in January on their home field of Lloyd Elsmore.

So head on out west for a great day of baseball not to be missed as the best of the best battle it out for supremacy on the diamond!
