Auckland Premier Baseball - Round 5

Round 5 of the Auckland Premier Baseball League is here, and after some fantastic games last week, we are in for yet another cracking round of baseball action.

This week sees the teams play at Lloyd Elsmore Park in Pakuranga.

Game 1 at 10:30am sees the undefeated West City team (4-0) play away to the team from Cola Yeh who last week upset the Howick U18 team.
West City, coming off a convincing 6-3 win over the second placed Howick Premier team, look set to continue their winning ways on their charge for a third straight National title.

In the second game at 1:00pm, the Howick Premier team take on their junior counterparts, the Howick U18 team in a game that went down to the wire in their last meeting, finishing 1-0 in favour of the Premier team, and is set to be another brilliant game this weekend.

In other baseball action, the Divisional sides will be playing off against each other over the other side of Auckland, at McLeod Park in Te Atatu.

West City Divisional take on the North Shore Angels at 10:30am while the Albany Braves look to get on the board, taking on the Howick Divisional side at 1:00pm

So come on, get out there and come and support your boys of summer as they show their skill in some great baseball action!
