The City Farmers’ Market Noel Night Market

The City Farmers’ Market is excited to announce its first Noel Night Market will be held on December 19th 2007, from 5-8pm at the usual market grounds behind the trainstation at Britomart.

The Noel Night Market is a way to celebrate the season and give Aucklanders a chance to collect their supplies and gifts in a fun, festive environment after work.

“Christmas in New Zealand is a wonderful way to celebrate fresh, seasonal gifts from Mother Nature,” says Market Manager Annie Wilson. “Produce is really at its best and our regional bounty of treats like strawberries, snow beans, peas, tomatoes and plums are ripe for the picking – we’ll even have some cherries!”.

In addition to delicious produce and food products for the Christmas dinner table and holiday barbeques, the City Farmers’ Market is the ideal place to pick up unique and tasty stocking stuffers and gifts. Regular market stallholders will be there offering a supply of local olive oils, jams and hand-made chocolates, to name a few. Along with three different flower stalls, there’s something for everyone.

The City Farmers’ Market will continue to operate as usual every Saturday 8.30am – 12.30pm behind the trainstaion at Britomart throughout the festive season and Summer.
