2007 champion Jelena Jankovic is currently ranked number 3 in the world and has had a huge year since winning in Auckland. Other recent entrants include, Daniela Hantuchova, Vera Zvonareva, Anastasia Myskina, Mary Pierce and Nadia Petrova.
