Cornerstone Roots are doing a national tour with 16 gigs across New Zealand from 23 June - 9 September.
Cornerstone Roots are a 7 piece Original Reggae Roots based group from Raglan. Their music is a mixture of soul, deep roots skank, heavy bass riffs, conscious lyrics and pacific flavours. Their first album was entitled 'Soul Revolution,' and was described as brilliant and impressive by some reviewers. Their second album, called 'Free Yourself,' will be in stores from 28 May 2007. They have been known to support such reggae heavyweights as Sly and Robbie, Lee Scratch Perry and Jimmy Cliff, during their tours of Australasia.
