The extraordinary life of John Merrick, known as the Elephant Man, is seen through his eyes, as well as those of the Famous surgeon, Frederick Treves.

It was Treves who took him into the London hospital and away from the damp, dark and disgusting conditions which his owner kept him under. Treves looked after Merrick and tried not only to give him as normal a life as possible, but even to introduce him to people who would treat him as a person.

As both a hit play and a hit film, (starring Anthony Hopkins and John hurt), this compationate, sometimes funny, often sad tale of the Elephant Man creates a wonderful story and an insight into this infamous character of history - known by many, yet understood by so few.

This production is advised for audiences of 15+ years.
