Deane Waretini, a well-known New Zealand Maori singer (baritone) invites you to a magnificent performance with special guests including the charming Raewon-Ann, famous All Black Billy Bush, Southern Wairau Quartet, Te Kotangitaha Cultural Group, popular dancing groups and others.
This performance has also a Russian flavour. Deane’s friend Andrei Frolov has translated the famous song “The Bridge” into Russian and Deane has recorded this song in three languages �" Maori, English and Russian. This has become a hit on the “Special Radio Station” in Moscow. “The Bridge” symbolises a link between cultures.
This is also the first step of realising Deane’s dream of bringing this programme to Russia in the next few years to introduce Maori and New Zealand culture to Russian audiences.
