The Festival - now celebrating its 26th anniversary - boasts an inspirational showcase of multicultural performances, visual and wearable art exhibition and celebrity MC's. Featured in this multicultural celebration are traditional and contemporary performances by over 65 of Canterbury's most accomplished Primary and Intermediate Schools and children's performance groups, representing over ten nationalities.
A Visual and Wearable Art Exhibtion will be displayed throughout the Festival, showcasing a colourful array of artworks created by children Canterbury-wide. Live 'wearable art statues' will create a dramatic entrance to the Exhibition prior to evening shows. A spectacular, on-stage Cultural Wearable Art Pageant, also promises to be a highlight.
