When INXS brought new frontman JD Fortune to New Zealand for last year's tour, tickets sold out pronto, fans and media raved and it was without question, a triumphant return.

Due to the overwhelming response from fans that missed out on tickets, Andrew McManus Presents is pleased to announce INXS will be returning to NZ to headline a three band special bill, with the mighty Simple Minds and the supa-cool Arrested Development. How’s that for a triple bill!

The 'Switched On' 2006 tour re-energised INXS, with the band playing to nearly 3/4 million people worldwide and sales of the 'Switch' album hitting well over one million copies globally. As the 'Switch' album approaches double platinum in Australia and the album’s fourth single the reggae-tinged ‘Never Let You Go’ is released, INXS are keen to tour again.

This time they will team up with one of Scotland's greatest musical exports Simple Minds, who similarly wowed audiences early last year. The band's musical majesty and timeless sound was a joy to experience, and Simple Minds are also keen to return.

The special guest support act is Arrested Development. The two-time Grammy-winners are reunited and back in action with a new record ‘Since The Last Time’, serving up their special blend of gritty hip hop/funk like earlier hits ‘Tennessee’ and ‘Mr Wendel’. The eight-piece band’s music is absolutely infectious live, and will kick off the shows with some soulful grooves!

INXS and Simple Minds of course crossed paths regularly in the heady days of the Eighties and are both proud of their well-earnt reputations as incredible live bands. They look forward to re-acquainting on the upcoming Australian and New Zealand tour.
