Showbiz Christchurch continues to bring the world’s top musicals to the stage in Christchurch, and 2007 will be no exception, with the staging of Andrew Lloyd Webbers hit musical Cats.

Cats has all the elements of great theatre – superb music, spectacular dance choreography, and wonderful costumes and characters. The story of a fascinating and diverse group of cats gathering for the “Jellicle Ball” has been skilfully draw from TS Eliot’s “Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats”, and woven into a sophisticated production which has been seen by over 50 million people world wide since its launch in London in 1981.
