Audiences should take every opportunity to catch a performance by 19-year old New Zealand concert pianist John Chen; he is in demand internationally with tours scheduled across Europe, Asia and USA. Chen will demonstrate his renowned virtuosity, performing Rachmaninov’s eternally popular 'Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini', a work that “goes from being intense and demonic to lyrical and beautiful.”

Anthonie Ritchie's new 'Organ Overture', commissioned in celebration of the Orchestra's 40th Anniversary, will be yet another highlight of a very special evening

Conductor: Werner Andreas Albert
