Six national events (Junior Artistic Gymnastics, Senior Artistic Gymnastics, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Trampolining, Tumbling and Doublemini Trampolining) will be combined in this National Championship marking a milestone in the history of Gymnastics in New Zealand.

Approximately 200 volunteers will be required to ensure 670 competitors and 1500 officials and supporters have a spectacular and professional event, while providing Canterbury families an opportunity to view a memorable display of sports.
