Flava Out West & Oceania Extrvaganza Festival

A huge two day performing arts event celebrating Waitakere City's cultural diversity. It's a Free day out catering for every age and every nationality. Both days host 50 food & craft stalls and a free childrens entertainment section!

Day One - Sat 25th Nov 2006
9.30am: Powhiri
10am to 1pm Waitakere Primary Schools Kapa Haka competitions.
1pm: Watchman Teen Fashion Awards (Teens enter your best maori fashion designs and win$$)
2pm: Drums of the Pacific (official drummers of the Warriors)
3pm to 6pm: Youth Shout Out starting with "Chong Nee", MNSFX, DRS, Heavenly Ko's, Faithcity Rockers, Unknown. Saturday's Children's section host: merry go round, a huge bouncy slide, and Pirate ship and Spinning cup rides!

Day Two - Sun 26th Nov 2006
10am to 1pm The Pasifika stage comes alive.
12pm: Drums of the Pacific with 11am Maori Kapa Haka tribute to our Pasifika brothers and sisters.
2pm to 3pm Youth explode on stage with hip hop, breakdancing and beat boxing battles!

Estimated Crowds 10,000+ over the weekend. Chill out in the park without all the expense: Bring your family and enjoy the Ezekiel expereince of a FREE day out with FREE Parking!
