Propecia Rally New Zealand is Round 15 of the 2006 FIA World Rally Championship

The rally action starts with a shakedown at Mystery Creek Events Centre on Thursday 16 November from 8:00am till 12:00 pm. This is the team’s chance to check their rally cars and is free to view. On Thursday evening the rally proper starts with a Free Rally Show and Ceremonial Start in Hood Street. Rally Cars will be on display from 4:00pm with autograph signing sessions from 5:00pm till 6:30 pm. This is your chance to meet the stars of the WRC, PWRC and New Zealand Rallying. Then in a World First there will be a live public press conference on the start ramp at 6:45pm with and official welcome following this. The first car crosses the start ramp at 7:30pm in a sound and light spectacular with the last car starting at 8:30pm. The cars will start in reverse order with the World Championship leader starting last.

Mystery Creek Events Centre will be a one stop rally experience with a huge amount of the rally action in one place. At Mystery Creek Events Centre the cars will be servicing where the teams have 20 minutes during the day and 45 minutes at the end of the day to fix these multi-million dollar machines. Also on Friday and Saturday night at 6:00pm the cars will be competing around a specially designed Super Special Stage that winds its way around the Mystery Creek property with great viewing including a jump and water splash. On Sunday the cars will finish back at Mystery Creek Events Centre at 3:00pm.
