Singathon is an 8-hour non-stop singing event where everyone is welcome to join in and help raise funds for the Cancer Society Tissue Bank.
To take part, obtain one or more sponsors for your songs and come to the Town Hall on 22 November to join one of the hourly singing sessions on stage. Visitors pay a gold coin to listen.
The 8 song sessions cover all types of music and are suitable for old and young - more details and a sponsorship form can be found at: www.singathon.org.nz
This is a great opportunity to have fun singing with others, while also supporting a worthwhile cause. The event will also feature several well known entertainers and be covered by the media and broadcast by CTV.
