Grey Lynn Park Festival is a community based, free event organised by the Grey Lynn Park Festival Trust Board. This will be the twenty-second year that the festival has been held.
The main focus of the day is family fun and community spirit. Entertainment throughout the day will include performances from diverse cultural groups, school groups and children. The park incorporates four main 'zones' including kids zone, Latino zone, music zone and markets.
Hundreds of general stalls will be selling a mixture of crafts, second hand goods, and clothing. A wide variety of food is on offer from paella to paua.
