The riotous collection of misfits includes all Strassman's lovable (and not so lovable) animated creatures: the twisted and demented Chuck, cute and cuddly Ted E. Bare, Sid the hack comic Beaver, Ted E. Bare's aged and forgetful Grandpa Fred, and more! Expect the unexpected!!

Like any good dysfunctional family, they have problems when some members (who shall remain nameless) decide that they could make it on their own. Sawdust and fur may fly before the tour is over as some of the family decide that they 'don't need a hand anymore'.

Fresh from the show's world premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the puppets are staging a revolt and tensions are running high as comic genius David Strassman gathers up his suitcase full of friends and heads back to New Zealand in 2006 for the "Get Chuck'd" Tour.

Since Strassman's last visit to New Zealand in 2003, he has performed in two sell-out Australian tours, which saw him perform in 25 cities around the country, to over 130,000 fans.

The 2004 "Chuck Who?" tour was not only a huge success with live fans, it is also something fans are still dying to take home, with the DVD having gone platinum 3 times and has remained on the best sellers list for 12 consecutive months.

So, audiences are in for a treat when Strassman, in this new show, "Get Chuck'd" takes up where the last tour left off - the sensitive Ted E. Bare takes on the tyranny of the emotionally-challenged and demented Chuck Wood, whose voice and personality appears where you least expect it!
