Th' Dudes and The Feelers

Two of New Zealand’s legendary bands Th’ Dudes and The Feelers will perform at Wanganui’s traditional Boxing Day Concert at Cooks Gardens.

Th’ Dudes featuring iconic guitarist-singer Dave Dobbyn are best known as the NZ rock upstarts of the late 1970’s, producing hit singles ‘Walking in Lights’, ‘Right First Time’, ‘Be Mine Tonight’ and ‘Bliss’. The line up of Th’ Dudes will be Dave Dobbyn (guitar/vocals) Peter Urlich (vocals) Ian Morris (guitar) Lez White (bass) and Bruce Hambling (drums).

The Feelers are regarded as one of the most successful bands in New Zealand music history following their debut album ‘Supersystem’ achieving over four times platinum sales. The Feelers formed in Christchurch in the mid 1990’s with group members James Reid, Matt Thomas, and Hamish Gee.
