The Cusp 07

The Cusp is on again and as thousands of people know – it rocks! Headlined this year by Frontline, dDub and King Kapisi, Cusp ’07 is set to be a memorable night. Being an youth focussed gig with a $5 price tag, this year’s Cusp is bound to attract a huge crowd to Trafalgar Park on New Years Eve

The Cusp has gone from strength to strength, and now attracts a diverse audience from all over the country. It has grown to be New Zealand’s biggest New Years Eve rock concert. The Cusp has something for everyone, and it is a great opportunity to hear some fresh new sounds from established national and local artists

FRONTLINE... "The most important rap group in New Zealand - period" P-money. ANAHAM... Since their dynamic opening set at The Cusp '06 Anaham have gone on to play the Big Day Out in Auckland and perform locally and out of town along side the likes of Blindspott and Elemeno P. www.anaham.co.nz

EVERAWAKE... has displayed talent this year through strong performances at Rockquest (regional finalist) and a 2nd placing at the regional final of the nationwide Battle of The Bands.

The Cusp 07 will be hosted by D-MAN and DJ NAFSKI of Wellington Hip Hop crew GND – Hosting duties entail short improvised music performances between bands to stitch the show together.

As well as the great variety of live music Cusp 07 also incorporates carnival rides, stalls and a spectacular midnight fireworks display. The music starts at 7pm finishes at 1am New Year’s morning. There will be gate sales, and for the first time, tickets can be bought before the event from the Nelson City Council up until the 22nd of December.
