The Buzz Junior Jungle Party

Auckland Zoo’s inaugural New Year’s Eve Jungle Rock Party was held for the first time in 2004. Aimed at parents with children up to the age of 14 years who are often at a loss to find something to do on New Year’s Eve which can involve the whole family, the event proved a great success and in its second year attracted 3,600 party-goers! As word of mouth spreads we anticipate that this event will soon become an annual sell-out!

As you enter the Zoo grounds, you’ll be jumped forward 3 hours into Tiger Time. New Year’s Eve is therefore being counted in at 9pm! It is perfect for families with younger children and provides a safe, but still very exciting venue for your New Year celebrations.

New sponsors, Playstation 2, will be setting up a Jungle Gaming Zone so kids can try out the new game Buzz Junior Jungle Party in an REAL jungle setting! There will be fun rides, inflatable, face painters and heaps of fun characters to meet. And don’t forget to wear your dancing jungle jandals and party on with our fun band.
