Auckland Zoo’s Christmas Party is the most magical event in our summer events calendar and this year we want to really celebrate what a New Zealand Christmas is all about. Most Kiwis will not have experienced a white Christmas – for us it’s about fun in the sun, barbeques on the beach, pavlova and pohutakawas in bloom!

We’ll make sure we have all the usual Christmas favourites - the Christmas fairies of Hippo River, walking Christmas Trees, Santa Claus, face-painters, carol singers, bouncy castles, inflatable fun rides……but all mixed in with a very ‘New Zealand’ experience!

There’s non-stop entertainment at the Band Rotunda too, with very special guests Matt and Dayna from TV2’s Studio 2 appearing to help us celebrate Christmas in true KIWI style! Then Santa arrives to dispense goodies to everyone from our friends at Hasbro!

We like to invite our Friends of the Zoo to this one free of charge as a special Christmas thank you. There are limited sales of 2000 tickets, and 3000 allocated free, so this event is always guaranteed to sell out fast!
