RONSKI SPEED (GERMANY)

East German producer and DJ, Ronski Speed aka Sun Decade, has created some of the most in demand tracks and remixes of the past few years. His records "E.O.S.", "Iris", "2Day E.P.", "Asarja" together with label mate Mirco De Govia, the 2005 smasher "Incognition" with Stoneface & Terminal and the Sun Decade singles "Follow You" and the groundbreaking "I'm Alone" were genuine club smashes and were hammered by the likes of Paul van Dyk, Ti보o, Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Above & Beyond and Ferry Corsten.

Starting his musical career in 1997, the dj Ronski Speed was quickly signed to brand new label Euphonic.
He collaborated on productions with fellow German dj/producer, Rough Mullar, for projects like Sonorous and Barefoot Brains.

2000: He kicked off with a remix of the now legendary "Glass Garden" by Sonorous, which became a massive club hit. The project Barefoot Brains released the Remedy/Poison EP in UK.

2001: From there Ronski and Rough Mullar co-produced Mirco De Govia including the tracks "Epic Monolith" & "Things That Matter" along with Mirco's remix work which has included Ralphie B's "Massive" and Lasgo's
"Something"(UK top 10). In Germany, the Ronski Speed remix of Kyau vs. Alberts "Outside" was released on Wea/Club Culture records and entered the German sales charts.

2002: Together with his studio mate Rough Mullar aka Sonorous he wrote and remixed the singles "Second Sun" and "Protonic". They both started the project Sun Decade together alongside singer Devia Lea. The first release
was the legendary "I'm Alone", which also became a massive club hit.

2003: "I'm Alone" of Sun Decade was re-released in the UK and Ronski delivered a series of quality remixes, including: Binary Finary's legendary "1998", Goldenscan's massive "Sunrise", Aly & Fila's epic "Eye Of Horus" and
Miro's classic "By Your Side", all of which helped him to spread his name all over the globe.
His first solo single "Iris" became a massive club hit, was played by all the big jocks and picked up by Paul Van Dyk for his Mixmag Mix-CD in UK. Together with Mirco De Govia he and Mr. Mullar finished some tracks for the
Chronoscale album and the massive Mirco De Govia remix of Kyau vs. Albert's "Velvet Morning".
At this time Ronski began focusing more on his dj career and starts his own first radio show on Di.FM, the world?s largest online dance radio station.

2004: "E.O.S." was released on Euphonic and later on ATCR in UK. Ronski remixed Armin Van Buuren's "Burned With Desire", Tatana's "Always On My Mind" and Rusch & Murray's "The Promise" for Anjunabeats. All these mixes helped him to define his own unique sound. Sun Decade's second single "Follow You" appears. on the DJ mix compilation "Positive Ways 3" showcasing Ronski's deck-side abilities between Progressive and Trance. During this year, he toured USA, UK, Germany, Holland, Russia, Scandinavia and Switzerland while also entering the 2004 DJ-MAG Top 100 at number 83.

2005: Started off with the massive collaboration for Euphonic with Mirco De Govia called "Asarja", followed by the "2Day" EP and "Sole Survivor" (A collab between Ronski and Sebastian Sand). The track "Incognition", with
Stoneface & Terminal followed and became one of the most in-demand progressive trance tunes of 2005. This track made it on every playlist while PvD featured the track on his DJ Mag Mix. Ronski Speed saw his strongest year as a DJ during 2005. He performed in the UK (e.g. Gatecrasher, Passion, Wildchild, Dance Academy), the USA, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Canada, Russia, Holland, Switzerland, Scandinavia and of course made appearances in his home country, Germany. There he played his first show at the well-known Nature One Festival. In March 2005 Ronski Speed played in front of a 200,000 person crowd at the Love Parade Mexico in Acapulco. Furthermore he mixed and
compiled the official Love Parade CD! In November 2005 we saw the wordwide release of his mix-cd "Monsterseries Vol.1". Between all of his gigs,, mix-cds and his monthly Radio Shows on DI.FM and ETN.FM, Ronski Speed consistently prooves his talent and skill in choosing the right tracks at the right time. As a result of this, Ronski Speed entered the tranceaddict.com top100 at #30 and the 2005 djmag top list at #119.

2006: The 3rd Sun Decade single, "Have It All" was released, and remixes for Above & Beyond's "Alone Tonight" and Solar Scape's "Alive Again", saw the light of day. 'Incognition' will be rereleased in UK with new mixes! Furthermore requests and confirmations have been pouring in for some very interesting DJ dates! - Watch out for Ronski!
