Salmonella Dub - Aotearoa Provincial Roots Tour

Salmonella Dub announce their April Aotearoa Provincial Roots Tour, taking in several regions the band haven't played in more than five years.

The tour will continue throughout Easter and ANZAC holiday weekends and audiences can expect the full Salmonella Dub live treatment, including a taste of a few new works-in-progress, fresh from the band's recently completed Kaikoura recording studio.

The band are touring to promote their new CD/DVD entitled Remixes and Radio Cuts - An Aotearoa Anthology of 200 Years Of Escapism From Industrial Revolution. The release includes a DVD of the band's 6 most recent videos, spectacular South Island landscape photos, One Drop North (a documentary of their 2004 sell-out European tour which screened on TV1 last year), plus a 14 track audio compilation of remixes and radio cuts chosen from their full catalogue.

Concord Dawn, Kora, Cornerstone Roots, Wicked Draw, Budspells (Sydney), and The Mighty Asterix will alternate on tour support duties (see tour schedule below).

2006 is shaping up to be a busy year for Salmonella Dub. After their April tour the band will perform shows in Fiji and Australia leading up to the release of their new album later in the year, followed by more extensive local and international touring well into 2007.
