In true kiwi summer tradition, rock legends The Feelers have signed on to play an extensive 15 date tour over December and January, accompanied by an extremely special guest.
The Feelers have well cemented their reputation as a must see live rock act but this year the band have been taking it relatively easy on the live front with only a couple of small stints overseas and one or two NZ gigs. However, radio airplay has soared. Both ‘The Fear’ and ‘Stand Up’ from last album ‘Playground Battle’ have achieved massive long-standing radio success making them two of the most memorable singles from 2005.
As a very special and somewhat unlikely support act, The Feelers are very excited to announce that NZ comedy extraordinaire Ewen Gilmour will be warming up the stage for the band at each of these summer shows. Ewen Gilmour is best know for his stand up comedy persona “The Westie” and he is revered in NZ for his no holds barred West Auckland inspired comedy show.
