Join award-winning artist Elise de Silva for her newest workshop, Watercolour Travel Journalling. If you have a passion for art, then join Elise and learn how to document your travel experiences in a watercolour way.

During the workshop, Elise will share her expertise, techniques, and personal insights, showing you how to create stunning visual stories that will capture the essence of your holiday.
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, this workshop caters to all skill levels. Come and learn easy-going techniques that cover the basics of drawing, watercolouring and journalling. Bring your travel sketches to life using vibrant watercolours, adding depth, texture, and luminosity to your artwork.

Gain invaluable tips on how to observe and capture fleeting moments, architectural wonders, landscapes, and moments with intricate detail. Translate your travel experiences onto paper and make your lasting memories unique. Drawing or Painting on location forces you to be present. It helps you strip away the detail and focus on capturing the essence of the subject. The sketching can take only a short time 15 – 40 minutes depending on the subject.

Delve into a creative process, experiment, take risks, and explore different artistic watercolour styles. Immerse yourself in the magical world of watercolour travel journalling and create lasting memories through your art.

Pay attention to travel experiences important to you. It could be people enjoying coffee at a cafe, tomatoes hanging from a balcony, unusual buildings or paths leading to nowhere. Sketch them as a travel watercolour is worth way more than a few images left sitting on your smartphone!
