The first of its kind in Taupō, and happening on the Saturday of the Wellington Anniversary Weekend, this fabulous festival features New Zealand’s finest jazz musicians. A smorgasbord of genres: Dixieland, Trad, Big Band to Klezmer, Contemporary and Swing plus captivating speakers covering the iconic moments in the history of Jazz.
Taupō (pronounced ‘toe-paw’) is located in the middle of New Zealand’s North Island and is guaranteed to delight. Taupō boasts hot springs and the Huka falls, as well as skydiving and fishing charters. Nearby is Rotorua, with its geothermal activity: geysers, mud pools and hot springs, as well as the unforgettable odour of sulphur.
