Whether you already love making zines or want to step up to sharing your creativity in printed form - welcome!
In this free workshop at Waikato Museum we will explore the themes of our exhibition "Six Extinctions", especially the climate crisis, and you'll make your own zine to take home with you.
A zine is a small handcrafted booklet, made from original or re-purposed writing and images. It's a great way to publish and share your own art, poems, opinions, or photos. Zines are the original low carbon footprint form of mass consciousness raising practice. Save the planet, make a zine!
Suitable for ages 13 years and older. All materials supplied - but feel free to bring your own too!
Free to attend but registration is required.
